PATIALA, July 13: The Punjab State Ministerial Services Employees Union has decided to intensify its agitation against non-acceptance of its long pending demands by the state government.

Union president Raj Kumar Arora has declared that the employees belonging to the ministerial union will observe a two-day pen-down strike in all the offices of the state, and the union will also hold protest rallies in the cities from tomorrow.

He was addressing a rally here in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office at The Mall. Others who also addressed the rally included Rattan Kumar Gautam, district president of union, Faquir Chand Sharma, district general secretary and Naroutam Sharma, chairman.

After the rally, the union leaders submitted a memorandum regarding its demands to the deputy commissioner.
