MUMBAI, FEB 17: A 50-year-old `pehalwan’ was killed after five men assaulted him with iron bars and sticks at Sion (east) on Wednesday evening. The incident is a fallout of unauthorised vehicle parking.

Victim Devrayu Yadav alias Pehalwan was near Jai Santoshi Mata nagar at Sion when he got into an argument with two persons over parking of a truck in the area. Within minutes three more men joined the fray and attacked the victim with iron bar and sticks.

Yadav was rushed to LMT Hospital at Sion, but he was declared dead before admission. His two associates Lalchand Yadav and B Yadav were injured in the attack, said the police.

Five men have been arrested in connection with the murder. They have been identified as Shriram Yadav, Hansraj Yadav, Deshlad Yadav, Dharamraj Kutty and Jaikumar Agarwal.
