PUNE, Aug 20: The general body meeting of the Pimpri-Chincwhad Municipal Corporation PCMC was adjourned on Friday amidst protests by corporators of the saffron alliance wanting a discussion on a motion against the Chief Executive Officer of the Pimpri-Chinchwad New Township Development Authority PCNDTA.
Opposition leader Amrut Parhad had alleged that PCNTDA officer Prakash Joshi had mistreated former mayor R S Kumar. However when the issue was raised, party leader Nana Shitole remarked that the incident was a telling account of how the saffron alliance governed the State in the last four-and-half years.
