The Patna High Court has directed the B.R. Ambedkar Dental College and Hospital to issue certificates to students, who have passed the Bachelor of Dental Science Examination but have been denied certificates by the college authorities who allegedly demanded a hefty sum.Justice Chandramauli Singh directed the college to grant certificates immediately to the students who have passed the BDS examination.The petitioner’s counsel, Rambalak Mahto, said that the college destroyed the attendance register of last year’s batch and turned down their request for marksheets.Justice Singh ordered that a register be kept in the college under police custody on which the students will mark attendance and the faculty in-charge would countersign.
