PUNE, Oct 8: The traffic wing of Pune police has imposed curbs on vehicular parking in the vicinities of Paud Road, Jangali Maharaj Road, Vishrambagwada, Bajirao Road and Shivajinagar. The implementation of the curbs will start with immediate effect, orders issued by Deputy Commissioner of Police Jagan Nath said.
Vehicular parking has been banned totally on the junction of the road leading to More Vidyalaya and Paud Road. Similar curbs have been imposed in front of the Regional Office at Vishrambagwada and near the District and Sessions Court in Shivajinagar.
Vehicular parking is allowed on alternate sides of the stretch of Bajirao Road between Nava Vishnu Chowk and Chimnya Ganapati Chowk on alternate days. Simialr curbs have been ordered on various lanes linking the Jangali Maharaj Road with Apte Road. These lanes include Bapusaheb Gupte path, Rambhau Palshikar path, Hotel Shubham lane, Shirole Road, Late Vasantrao Shivram alias Nanasaheb Deshpande path, Bapusaheb Purandare path, Wrangler Paranjape path and Sadubhau Kelkar path.
