SHRIRAMPUR, Nov 29: Congress MLA Dilip Walse Patil has alleged that parallel power centres have been created in the state to settle various disputes on receipt of payments.Speaking to the media persons, Walse-Patil said that the saffron alliance government claims to have brought down the crime rate in the state, but the actual fact was that complaints were not registered at the police stations.He alleged that at each police stations, the complainants and the accused were summoned and compromises were arrived at after receiving bribes from both the parties. Walse-Patil was here to attend a meeting organised to protest against the arrest of the Congress MLA Bhanudas Murkute.Walse-Patil charged that the arrest of Murkute was a part of a political conspiracy and accused that the district guardian minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil was behind it. NAGAR: Republican Party of India leader and MP Ramdas Athawale has said that the Congress should leave four state assembly seats in Ahmednagar district to the RPI during the forthcoming state assembly elections. Speaking at a RPI convention, Athawale expressed the confidence that the RPI-Congress alliance will continue even in the next Assembly elections.
