Pappu says Sena MP was threatened

Independent MP from Bihar, Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav, on Tuesday alleged in the Lok Sabha that an RJD member in the Rajya Sabha had threatened Shiv Sena MP Suresh Jadhav in the lobby for raising the fodder scam issue.

This was immediately objected to by leader of RJD in the Lok Sabha Raghuvansh Prasad Singh who said Yadav could not take the name of a member of another House. Speaker Manohar Joshi observed that since the member belonged to another House, allegations could not be made against him in the Lok Sabha. Joshi added that Jadhav would narrate whatever had happened when he would speak on the no-confidence motion against the Vajpayee government.
