CHANDIGARH, July 23: The local branch of the CBI will investigate into the leakage of question papers of B.Sc (Mathematics) honours school during the examinations held by the Punjab University. This follows a request by PU Vice Chancellor M.M. Puri to the CBI to investigate into the matter.

The enquiry committee constituted by the university has confirmed that an organised racket was operative in the university. The findings of the committee suggested that leakage also took place in other university departments.

The enquiry was ordered following a report published in Chandigarh Newsline stating that a question paper of an examination conducted by the university had been leaked.
