Over 800 cast postal ballots in J & K

More than 800 employees in two constituencies of Leh district in J-K have cast their votes through postal ballots, an official said.

More than 800 employees on assembly election duty in two constituencies of Leh district in Jammu and Kashmir have cast their votes through postal ballots, an official spokesman said in Srinagar.

“So far, 760 employees on election duty have cast their votes through postal ballots in Leh constituency. 140 employees used their right of franchise today,” the spokesman said.

In neighbouring Nobra constituency, two employees used postal ballots to cast their votes, taking the total in the segment to 122.
