MUMBAI, JULY 17: OTIS Elevator Company India Limited has turned in an impressive performance for the 6-month period ended June 2000. The gross profit increased 33 to Rs 21.69 crore compared to Rs 16.71 crore recorded in the same period last year. The profit before tax rose 72 to Rs 12.43 crore Rs 7.20 crore and profit after tax went up by 28 to Rs 8.18 crore Rs 6.35 crore. During this period, its net sales touched Rs 129.75 crore compared to Rs 121.82 crore.
