THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, Sept 4: `Onam’, the harvest festival of Kerala, which also marks the legendary annual visit of the benevolent Asura King Mahabali to his subjects, was celebrated today with traditional gaiety. People thronged temples in the early morning for special poojas, while the high-point was the mid-day feast or `sadhya’. In Kochi, an Onam procession was taken out by the District Tourism Promotion Council.
