SURAT, Jan 17: Rallies, workshops, clinics, human chains, quiz, debate and painting competitions are among the programmes that will be held as part of the Oil Conservation Fortnight celebrations that will conclude on January 31. The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas is celebrating the fortnight all over the country. The celebrations kicked off in Surat with Police Commissioner Kuldeep Sharma flagging off a rally that started from Shardayatan School and returned to the same place after passing through the Parle Point area on Friday. About 500 school students, teachers, officials and dealers of oil companies took part.
