PUNE, Dec 25: In a case of theft at the officers mess at Lohegaon, unidentified thieves decamped with curtains and mirrors valued at Rs 20,640 on Tuesday night.According to police, the thieves broke into the entry room of the officers mess and walked away with the booty.Housewife Duped: A housewife was cheated by two unidentified persons WHO promised to polish her gold bangles and smartly decamped with the valuables worth Rs 9,000.According to the complainant, Shailaja More, a resident of Narayan Peth, two unidentified persons who visited her house on the pretext of polishing gold valuables, took her bangles and dipped it in turmeric water. They later smartly managed to flee from the place.
