Within 24 hours of Congress MLAs from Telangana agreeing to abide by the party high command’s directive to wait till November on their demand for a separate PCC, the Congress Forum for Telangana (CFT) — which consists of MLAs and former MLAs — has threatened to float a political outfit on the lines of Vidarbha Rajya Nirmana Congress if the central leadership fails to respond to their plea.Addressing a press conference attended by CFT president G. Chinna Reddy, former minister K. Keshava Rao said the decision was taken at a meeting of the forum today.Chinna Reddy and three other MLAs were party to the resolution adopted by the Telangana Congress Legislators Forum yesterday to abide by the high command’s suggestion. The other three are: A. Indrakaran Reddy, P. Goverdhan Reddy and B Saraiah. In a turnaround, they issued the threat today but did not set any deadline to the party high command. ‘‘We will wait for a reasonable time. It may be a week or a little over that,’’ Rao said.
