And now you can find your life partner through mobile. Promoted as India’s first matrimonial services on mobile, MobileFirst, an alliance of cellular operators BPL Mobile, Escotel, RPG Cellular and Spice Telcom, have launched the service named Life Partner.The operators say with the service, one could search a life partner with ease and speed. It is a very low-cost option to place a matrimonial ad, with reach extending across multiple States and metros. With three million subscribers across 700 towns and operating in ten telecom circles, the aim was to leverage the size and reach, president and CEO of BPL Mobile, F.B. Cardoso. Currently, value-added services accounted for 5 to 10 per cent of MobileFirst’s Rs 2,500 crore gross revenue and with this launch and three more offering this year, their share was expected to go up by 5 per cent (Rs 125 crore). Life Partner is a free service with no registration fee.
