A national level judo player and owner of the Maruti Swift car used to ‘kidnap’ the rape victim, Kaushal has pleaded innocence stating he had no role in the entire incident.

In his petition, Kaushal stated he has been falsely implicated and that he was not in Panchkula on the day of the gangrape. He has taken the plea that he was not named in FIR and he was in Sector 42 stadium in Chandigarh for practice in the evening. Kaushal has demanded that the matter should be investigated by CBI since the Panchkula police are not investigating the matter properly.
