Kapil Dev is not the one to be mellowed down by the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s decision to sack him as the National Cricket Academy chairman.The former India pacer came out strongly today in defence of his new-found cause - the Indian Cricket League - and even threatened to go on a hunger strike of the BCCI inflicted injustice on young cricketers. Kapil, the executive board Chairman, of ICL, said he would do everything to prevent youngsters, who have signed up with the ICL, from being penalised by the BCCI.“If youngsters who do well with the ICL are ignored by the BCCI, I will go on hunger strike,” he told a television channel today.
