NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 26: There is good news for the aspiring cricketers of the Capital. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has agreed to set up a North Zone National Cricket Academy at Delhi which will become operational from May next year, under the supervision of renowned coaches. The NCA at Delhi will be under the supervision and guidance of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA).The BCCI has also nominated a two-member committee, comprising former Test cricketers Polly Umrigar and Brijesh Patel to inspect the venue and infrastructures available for the purpose ``as per the BCCI guidelines.'' The committee is expected to visit Delhi shortly, according to C K Khanna, one of the vice-presidents of the Board, who attended the meeting in Mumbai.
