‘No leadership crisis, party has Atal’s blessings’

Describing Advani as the 'most capable and competent' candidate for the PM's post, BJP leader and Bollywood actor, Shatrughan Sinha said there is no leadership crisis in the party.

Describing leader of opposition LK Advani as the “most capable and competent” candidate for the Prime Minister’s post, senior BJP leader and Bollywood actor, Shatrughan Sinha said there is no leadership crisis in the party.

“Advani is the most capable and competent person to lead the country. He is the most competent and qualified person for the top post,” Sinha told PTI on the sidelines of BJP’s three-day national executive meeting which ended on Sunday.

There is no crisis in the party on the issue of leadership as the party has full blessings of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The issue of leadership kept popping up during the three-day national executive meeting with the party maintaining that the issue will be settled at an appropriate forum and time.

In view of the possibility of mid-term polls and Vajpayee’s ill health the issue has gained momentum in the BJP.

Premji said that Wipro would partner with the Government "to find a lasting solution for Bengaluru's mobility challenges".
