MUMBAI, FEB 6: Surprize Stampz Ltd is launching a nationwide marketing promotional concept involving stamps given after purchase of goods. To be launched in Mumbai in March for the first time in India, it will be later spread over to other cities.
M M Satish, chairman, said Surprize’s stamps are promotional stamps which have been created by state-of-the-art technology. “They will be given free to customers after they purchase goods valued at Rs 100 and above,” he said.He said the company is negotiating with a host of dealers, corporates, hotels, banks and airline for launching the concept. “There are three ways a customer can be a winner. Each stamp has a silver coat on the reverse concealing the word prize or a number. The customer has to scratch the coat off and find out whether he is a surprise winner. If the world prize emerges on scratching he/she could end up being the proud owner of a swanky car or motor cycle,” Satish said. “If it is a numbered stamp, the customer can go in for the combinationprize option. Customer can choose to collect a straight sequence of numbers – a minimum of 10 and pick up his prize. The longer the sequence, the bigger the prize,” he said. The customer can paste the combination stamps either in a booklet that he buys or on plain sheet of paper.
