New-look FCTA to be inaugurated on October 14

PUNE, Oct 12: The new-look Fergusson College Tennis Academy (FCTA) being set up by the Deccan Education Society and Prof V Sundarajan Trust will be inaugurated by Nitin Desai, managing director, Desai Bros Ltd on Oct 14.

Briefing the press today, R Sundaranaj, trustee of the Trust, informed that M Balachandran, a Level II coach will be the director of the academy.

Sundarajan said, “Our prime aim is to nurture youngsters and spot talent. We plan to arrange a tour for our talented boys and girls to Europe to practice once a year and also have video footage of all players in the academy to help coaches analyse players better.”
