New IDBI team to track DPC, Spectrum

In an important revamp, IDBI Ltd has put in place a new team which will now look at matters relating to its two major troubled exposures: Dabhol power project and Spectrum Power Generation Ltd. IDBI’s exposure to Dabhol stands at a hefty Rs 2,121 crore, and in Spectrum it has a Rs 156 crore exposure. IDBI has replaced Executive Director A.K. Doda and has appointed a team led by Executive Director Balakrishnan Jitender. Doda has been made in-charge of the Stressed Assets Stabilisation Fund (SASF).
