Amid reports that it has received weapons from China, Nepal’s army has said it would continue getting arms and ammunition from “friendly nations”.Without naming China, acting spokesman of the Royal Nepalese Army Umesh Bhattarai said that arms and ammunition have been coming as a regular process from “friendly nations” and it would continue in the future.He also went on to describe the unilateral truce declared by the Maoists as a “strategic ploy” to recoup their strength and claimed the rebels have killed 19 people after their September 3 ceasefire.
