Sabmiller India’s subsidiary, Mysore Breweries Ltd (MBL), is making an open offer for acquiring the remaining 25.18 per cent stake in Rochees Breweries Ltd (RBL) at a price of Rs 11.25 per share aggregating around Rs 20.02 crore.

The company has signed an agreement with the promoters of RBL to acquire their entire 74.82 per cent stake in the company and for the remaining 25.18 per cent, mbl will be making the open offer, MBL informed the Bombay Stock Exchange here. Sabmiller India is 60 per cent owned by Sabmiller Plc,the second largest brewer in the world, it added.
