VADODARA, Jan 6: The city8217;s Baroda Museum and Picture Gallery at Sayajibaug will celebrate the Museum Week8217; from January 8 to 14. Various educational programmes will be organised on the occasion.
Video film shows pertaining to issues of cultural relevance and wildlife will be held at the museum premises. A Gallery Discussion8217; on topics based on the miscellaneous collections housed in the museum will also be organised. The subjects to be discussed include Egyptian Art and Culture, Greek and Roman Art and Culture and Wildlife and Birds of Gujarat.
While colour slide shows on the Culture of Sindhu River and India8217;s Historic Monuments will also be held.
The museum authorities have also organised special clay-modelling demonstrations for school children and teachers. Entry to the museum is free during the Museum Week8217; celebrations.
