The Mumbai Indians began preparations for the Indian Premier League on Friday, but preferred to keep their plans under wraps.

So much so that there were strict instructions to keep photographers away from the three-hour session in a distant suburb, the official reason being that it would help players maintain focus. It can happen in any match,” coach Lalchand Rajput said.
