Youth dies in freak mishap An office-going youth met with a tragic death and his friend was seriously injured when a heavy compressor dropped on them from a skyscraper on Friday afternoon in Nariman Point area in South Mumbai. Police said the compressor apparently fell from Express Towers though they were unable toascertain from which floor yet. Twenty-one-year old Julius Moria was declared dead on admission while Ignatius Fernandes was kept in the GT hospital at Dhobi Talao. The youths were walking on the pavement adjoining the building when the compressor fell on them, crushing Moria's neck.Turkish film festival A three-day festival of Turkish films will be kicked off at held at the Y B Chavan from March 30 at 6.30 pm. A tribute to noted Turkish film-maker Omer Kavur, the festival has been organised by Prabhat Chitra Mandal in collaboration with Cinemaya-Netpack and the Embassy of Turkey.
