Bengali cultural fest
A three-day day Banga Sanskriti Utsav will be held at Nehru Centre on February 9, 10 and 11 at 7 pm. The festival has been organised by the Department of Information and Culture, Government of West Bengal and Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre in association with Nehru Centre and Presidency College Calcutta Alumni Association, Mumbai. Senior artistes like Dwijen Mukhopadhyay, Nirmala Mishra, Chandidas Mal, Arundhati Homa Chowdhury, Soumitra Mitra etc are slated to perform at the festival.
Management week at BCL
The British Council Library will celebrate the week from February 9 to 13 as Management Week8217;. Programmes for the week will include talks by management experts, display of titles on the subject, exhibition of cartoons and video screenings. The talks will be held at 6.30 pm in the library. Nature camp at Corbett Park
The World Wide Fund for Nature-India is organising a nature education camp at the Jim CorbettNational Park, situated at uthe foothills of Himalayas. The park boasts of more than 560 species of birds, and also has elephant rides and jeep rides. The camp will be held between April 17 and April 25.
