The Rajya Sabha was informed on Thursday that the sale of five National Textile Corporation properties in Mumbai, that yielded Rs 2,021 crore, had been transparent, in accordance with the law and directions of the Board of Industrial and Financial Reconstruction. ‘‘There was total transparency. There was no involvement of land mafia. The source of funds of the conglomerates that bought the corporations, if required, could be looked into by the Finance Ministry,’’ Textile Minister Shankersinh Vaghela said.
