The experts from the Jurong Consultants Private Limited of Singapore, in the masterplan submitted to the Punjab government, have proposed Mullanpur as low density, country living, resort centre and northern gateway to Greater Mohali.

The masterplan presents opportunity for a well-managed “eco-town” environment with a variety of new and exciting developments to encourage diversified growth in tourism that balances economic growth with environmental, cultural and community values.
