Chandigarh police arrested Amrik Singh, the younger son of Rajya Sabha8217;s nominated MP Dara Singh, on Friday for allegedly 8216;outraging the modesty of his estranged wife8217;.
On a complaint of Amrita Randhawa, wife of Amrik Singh, police registered a case against him and three others.

Randhawa in her complaint to the police alleged that Amrik Singh along with his friends tried to outrage her modesty after forcefully entering into her house in the city. She also alleged that Amrik beat up her family friend, Ritu Kumar Rai. Similar charges have been slapped against Amrik8217;s uncle, Gurratan Aulakh and friends Kanwarpal Singh Cheema and Varinder Kumar. All the four accused have been remanded to judicial custody.
