NEW DELHI, JAN 30: The steel ministry will soon set up four working groups to review the policy framework and suggest measures required to be taken by the new government to provide an impetus to the steel industry.
This was decided at a high level meeting convened here by the ministry with apex chambers of commerce, major steel manufacturers and industry associations.
The working groups will address areas of major concern to the industry such as input costs, infrastructural issues, marketing and financial sector reforms.
Each of these groups will comprise representatives from the industry, financial institutions and concerned government departments.
