More co-operative banks in TN planned

TIRUCHI, July 10: The TN State Co-operative Department plans to set up five new urban co-operative banks and five co-operative printing press units in the State, according to T S Sridhar, Registrar, Co-operatives. The new urban co-operatives banks would come up at Omalur, Hosur, Yercaud and Salem while the co-operative printing press units would be set up at Tiruvannamalai, Karur, Villupuram and Namakkal districts.
