CHANDIGARH, Sept 30: Chandigarh entered the semifinal of the Senior Punjab Inter-District Katoch Shield cricket tournament after getting past Ropar on the basis of first innings lead in the two-day quarterfinal tie here at the PCA Stadium today.Replying to Ropar's first innings score of 140, Chandigarh were 263 for 5 in 75 overs when the umpires called off play with the two captains' consent.Skipper Dinesh Mongia scored a briliant 135 as the hosts' batsmen collared the Ropar bowling attack.
