Ford India’s luxury car Mondeo and Bajaj Auto’s Pulsar motorcycler bagged the car and motorcycle of the year award respectively, instituted jointly by the ICICI Bank and Overdrive magazine.The fifth ICICI Bank-Overdrive awards for the scooter of the year was won by Kinetic Motors’ Nova while Hero Honda was adjudged bike maker of the year. Apart from bagging the best car of the year, Hyundai Motor was chosen as the car maker of the year here on Wednesday.Luxury car maker DaimlerChrysler M-class bagged the best utility vehicle award while its E-class won the best component award.Yamaha’s Enticer charmed won the best ad campaign of the year.Veteran industrialist Rahul Bajaj was honoured with the Hall of Fame award for his contribution towards the Indian auto industry. Royal Enfield’s bike Bullet also got the hall of fame award.
