CHANDIGARH, Sept 28: Reacting to the Punjab Government’s announcement of "no-work no-pay", members of the Punjab State Ministerial Services Union gathered here today and blocked traffic near the Sector 17 Punjab Treasury office. They burnt letters informing them of the government’s stand and shouted slogans against the government.
Pledging to continue their agitation till their demands were accepted, they threatened to block traffic tomorrow also. The union’s Chandigarh unit president, Raman Sharma, said their strike since September 15 has completely paralysed the working in all the offices of Punjab and Chandigarh.
