The committee claimed that co-convener of the Punjab Medicos Action Committee, Dr Hargurpartap Singh, was found in a semi-conscious state. The action committee has warned the college and state administration that they shall be responsible for any loss of life that may result due to their dictatorial attitude. Agitation threat over `govt apathy’

The Employees Welfare Association has resented the anti-employees attitude adopted by the state government and threatened to launch an agitation if the government failed to accept their pending demands. In a statement today, it was said the state government’s decision to increase government house rent up to 10 per cent has caused a lot of resentment among the employees.
