MUMBAI, June 2: Application forms for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) students taking the Common Entrance test for the MBBS and BDS courses will be available soon after the HSC results are announced in the State. However, the date has yet to be declared.They can be collected from the district collector's office as well as the 11 government medical colleges in the State. The CET itself will be conducted within a month after the HSC results are declared.Meanwhile, Health Minister Daulatrao Aher today said that the pre-medical test for admission to MBBS course will be held as per the schedule declared by the medical education department.``We are conducting the examination as per the directives of the Supreme Court and there is no question of any reconsideration on it,'' Aher said. Shroff has urged the government to defer the examination for the current year since one month is too short a time for the students to prepare for the entrance examination. Secondly, Shroff has suggested that the governmentshould move the apex court a fresh to get interim relief., Aher said. ``These issues are beyond the consideration of the state,'' Aher added.Replying to a question, Aher clarified that the application forms and rules for the entrance examination will be available on the day the result for the 12th standard is declared. ``The forms will be available at all the government medical colleges and collectorates,'' he clarified.
