MUMBAI, NOV 26: The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) felicitated two of its current most outstanding cricketers — Sachin Tendulkar and Ajit Agarkar — for their exploits in the international arena. The duo’s felicitattion coincided wih the MCA annuual awards presentation which was being held after a long gap of five years.

Former Indian captains Ajit Wadekar and Sunil Gavaskar. Following were the awards for tthe respective seasons

SV Rajadhyaksha Trophy awarded for the player scoring the most number of runs in a season: Ravi Shastri (1993-94), Sachin Tendulkar (1993-94), Sulakshan Kulkarni (1995-96), Amol Muzumdar (1996-97), Vinod Kambli (1997-98)

Shavak Pagdiwalla Trophy awarded to player taking highes nmber of wickets in the season: Sairaj Bahutule (1993-94 & 1995-96), Nilesh Kulkarni (1994-95 & 1996-97), Paras Mhambrey (1997-98) Dattu Phadkar Award carrying cash award of Rs 1200 (best Mumbai Ranji Trophy cricketer): Amol Muzumdar (1993-94), Sachin Tendulkar (1994-95), Abey Kuruvilla (1995-96),Sulakshan Kulkarni (1996-97), Jatin Paranjape (1997-98)

Justice SR Tendolkar Trophy awarded to the best senior cricketer of the season: Sairaj Bahutule (1993-94), Nilesh Kulkarni (1994-95), Sachin Tendulkar (1995-96), Sanjay Manjrekar (1996-97), Ajit Agarkar (1997-98)

Shantaram S Rangnekar award carrying cash award of Rs 500 (best overall juunior cricketer):

Amol Muzumdar (1993-94), Amit Pagnis (1994-95), Rajesh Pawar (1995-96 & 1997-98), Ajit Agarkar (1996-97)
