Maya’s transfer raj shifts another 19 IAS, 18 IPS

UP’s new government today transferred 19 IAS and 18 IPS officers, taking the total number of civil and police officers transferred, after it assumed power on Friday, to 86. Director of the Sub-Urban Development Authority Navneet Sehgal takes over as the District Magistrate of Lucknow replacing Jivesh Nandan, who has been put on waiting list, an official spokesman said.

Labour Commissioner Anees Ansari is Principal Secretary (PS) (Energy) while PS (Higher Education) Satish Agarwal has been shifted to Irrigation Department. Rural Development PS, A.K. Seth, is Resident Commissioner in New Delhi while Transport Commissioner Fateh Bahadur Singh swaps posts with Home Secretary K.S. Atoria.
