ROHTAK, Sept 8: The Resident Doctors’ Association has condemned the gherao, manhandling and bid to ransack office of director of Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences Durga Shankar Dubey by Class IV employees on Tuesday last.

According to information received, a saint from Brindawan had come to Delhi for heart treatment. After consultation, the doctors decided that there was no need for any immediate operation. The saint, thus, decided to stay with Dubey on August 28 and the two left for Brindavan where it was discovered that a brief case containing Rs 60,000 was left behind.

Dubey asked his driver to go to Rohtak and fetch the brief case. He brought the brief case but the purse containing money was found missing. Later an FIR was lodged with the police authorities. The situation took an ugly turn when the police interrogated three Class IV employees. They gheraoed the director, barged into director’s office and tried to ransack the office and used filthy and abusive language.
