PUNE, Oct 1: Come October two and the village weekly bazaars across Pune district will have one-stop shoppes of the administrative kind.Pune Zilla Parishad officials will be available to villagers at the weekly bazaars, irrespective of Sundays and other holidays, taking care of their day-to-day administrative needs with active support of voluntary organisations.The endeavour, strengthening the citizens' charter concept, is a step to bring various middle-level Zilla Parishad authorities under one umbrella, Zilla Parishad chief executive officer V Radha told The Indian Express. For the first time in 27 years of zilla parishads in Maharashtra, the Pune Zilla Parishad is creating the mandal (circle) offices, which would make various officers available for the villagers on the weekly bazaar days.
