Manch against Sonia, Tehelka

RSS chief K.S. Sudarshan, NDA convenor George Fernandes and VHP working president Ashok Singhal and Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy came together on one platform against Congress president Sonia Gandhi and news portal Tehelka.

The leaders met today under the Rashtriya Swabhiman Manch and passed a resolution demanding a probe into the allegations made in the Jain Commission report and an inquiry into Tehelka’s defence sting operation.

While all the speakers spoke out in turn against Tehelka, Singhal focused on the Kanchi seer issue. ‘‘There is a great danger in the country. When the Kanchi Shankacharya was arrested, Indian rule came to an end,’’ he said.
