VADODARA, Nov 24: Noted danseuse Mallika Sarabhai along with her Darpana Troupe will perform in the city on December 4 in aid of city-based voluntary organisation V-One Society.The performance will feature the acclaimed dance dramas Manushya and Nataraja Vandanam.Started in 1971, the V-One Society has offered assistance to more than 16,000 disabled people in the city and neighbouring villages. The society aims at total rehabilitation of such persons to help them become useful citizens and also remain a part of mainstream society.Some of the activities undertaken by V-One include assistance for purchase of artificial limbs, aids and appliances, registration for employment, vocational guidance, counselling services and marriage counselling.
