Todd Hamilton, who has played alongside Jeev Milkha Singh on the Japanese Tour, has had two exceptional seasons. Last year he won four times on the Japanese Tour and then went on to qualify for the PGA Tour. However, his victory at the 2004 Open Championship at St. Georges, when he beat world number two Ernie Els in a playoff, has been the highlight of his career. That brought him the kind of fame he’d never seen, including making the celebrity opening pitch at a ball game back home.

Justin Rose is knwon or his sheer talent. He shot to fame with the final chip he holed at the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale in 1998 to tie for fourth place; he’s since lived up to expectations. Also in his rookie year on the PGA Tour, he has had four fourth place finishes on the PGA Tour this year and is currently 35th in the all-round ranking.
