AMSTERDAM, March 27: Dutch entrepreneur Hans Bossmann has come up with the perfect product for people stressed by the glut of news in the information age: A newspaper with no news.

For 1.95 gilders — a dollar a day — subscribers receive a 16-page newspaper full of nothing — just blank paper. No one can handle all the news any more, said publisher and Editor-in-Chief Bossmann. What to do with the blank sheets once purchased? Give them to children to colour, he suggested. Bossmann also called for an international news-free day, with worldwide blank papers and blank TV screens.
