Major reshuffle in health department

KHARAR, May 19: In A MAJOR RESHUFFLE, THE dEPARTMENT OF hEALTH AND fAMILY Welfare, Punjab, has ordered the transfers and posting of 68 Senior Medical Officer working in various health centres in the state.

In a another reshuffle, the Department of Local Government, Punjab, has also ordered the transfers ad posting of 67 officials working in various Municipal Corporations, Improvement Trusts. Those transferred also include municipal engineers, trust engineers, executive officers (trust cadre), assistant municipal engineers, junior engineers, superintendents, accountants, inspectors, draftsman and sanitary inspectors.

`APPOINT MC EXECUTIVE OFFICER’: Residents of the township have demanded appointment of a regular executive officer of the Kharar Municipal Council to ensure smooth functioning of the municipal office. At present, the executive officer of Kurali MC has been temporarily given additional charge as executive officer of Kharar Municipal Council.
