CALCUTTA, DECEMBER 19: Mahindras, Mumbai, rode on a second half resurgence to hold former champions Mohun Bagan to a 1-1 draw in their National Football League tie. The wily M Najib restored parity for the visitors in the 76th minute after medio James Singh had put Bagan in the lead in the 39th.
Bagan enjoyed complete domination in the first half, their Thai recruit Dusit going on constant overlaps and feeding the frontlines with measured throughs. But they looked tired and incohesive after the breather, as the Mumbai team regrouped and launched a series of well-coordinated attacks. Mahindras have two points, Bagan four in three matches.
