Mahindras hold East Bengal to goalless draw

CALCUTTA, JAN 24: Calcutta giant East Bengal recevied another jolt as they were held to a goalless draw by Mumbai’s Mahindra and Mahindra in the Coca Cola National Football League tie at Salt Lake Stadium on Monday.

There was also nothing worth mentioning regarding the visitors as they could hardly produce anything better than their rivals. Only their defence, including stoppers Christopher and Bernard, could succeed in thwarting almost each and every move of East Bengal.
