Sri Lanka’s Farveez Maharoof has been severely reprimanded for breaching the ICC’s code of conduct during the cricket triseries match against West Indies.
ICC match referee Mike Procter found Maharoof guilty for breaching clause 1.5 of the ICC code of conduct — excessive appealing in the course of play in the match — after a hearing at the Rangiri Stadium.
The reports were made by match officials Simon Taufel, Asoka de Silva and Peter Manuel.
